RURAL STUDENT ADVOCACY SCHOLARSHIP

Rural students across the state are doing incredible work to address and advance important issues in their local communities. This scholarship exists to provide these students with the opportunity to continue their leadership and advocacy efforts through their post-secondary education.
Objectives:
The Redefining Rural Advocacy Scholarship Fund is designed to achieve the following:
- Recognize rural student advocacy and leadership
- Inspire students across the state and nation by modeling rural student local leadership and advocacy work
- Create a resource bank for rural students seeking to impact their local communities through advocacy and leadership efforts
Award Amount:
Scholarship recipients will be awarded $1,000 per year-for up to four years-for each year of enrollment in a post-secondary institution or vocational training program. Proof of continued enrollment and qualifying transcripts are required prior to disbursement.
